Yup, Ghosts. What else would we post about? Oh wait I know, WE'RE LOOKING TO INVESTIGATE HOMES AND NEIGHBORHOODS! Let's face it, the temperature outside is getting colder. What? Halloween Special

When Halloween is in the air. B.P.I will make a Halloween special! What will it be though? We have done Jones Nursery Road, Keen Johnson at EKU, Paris TB hospital, hmmm......let's wait and see......

Ok so B.P.I has investigated the Blue Lady at EKU and the old TB hospital grounds in Paris KY. We are still reviewing a lot of the footage and EVPs and we will upload them as soon as we can!

Jones Nursery Road

Ok so the update on the evidence gathered from Jones Nursery Road, Winchester, KY.
So far we have a LOT of orb activities. Everyone in the group felt the same types of things, chills down our spines, sick, heavy, light headed, and other various side effects.
We all seen what appeared to be a shadowy figure coming down the road, as if following us.
Emily and Dustin had their car smacked by an unseen hand as we were about to leave. We obviously stuck around for a while longer to investigate a little more!

First Ghost Hunt!

Ok so we aren't new to the paranormal or ghost hunting, BUT we are having our first OFFICIAL B.P.I ghost hunt this Tuesday! (10/7/14) hopefully the clouds will work with us for this one since thunderstorms are a possibility. Stay Tuned!

Small Cases

These places are small time ghosts (well besides the Salem Cemetery) however, they do require permission to visit. You can let the local law enforcement know you will be in the area, usually they are fine as long as you dont mind random check ups and leave the place as clean as you left it (or better!)


Salem Cemetery- Richmond KY

Salem Cemetery is on the grounds a previous Satanic church was built on. It now has a Baptist church on it. Witnesses report strange glowing eyes from the cemetery, foot steps following them, and other strange happenings

Cave Hill- Louisville KY

Green lights have been reported along with moving objects, noises, and graves being moved and falling down

Cherokee Cemetery- Louisville KY
(FYI Louisville is VERY haunted)
Flashing lights like lightning even when sky is clear, screams, witnesses have been chased out of the property by an unseen force.

Eastern Cemetery- Louisville KY

This place is in horrible condition which logic could assume it makes the spirits angry. There is also a woman who cares for the dead children and babies in the back.

Middle Town, Woodland Hills-Louisville KY

An old lady who died 20+ years ago chases passing cars taking photos. Her background is her husband died in a hit and run and supposedly she has been searching for the one responsible ever since.

Sleepy Hollow- Louisville KY

Located off US 42 Brownsboro Road. Phantom animals, phantom cars, a deserted house still has lights on despite there being no electricity running to it.

Step Stone Church- Mt. Sterling KY

4 girls were supposedly raped, crucified, and burned in this church. Now it is haunted by chilling screams, laughter and flying shadow figures.

Four Mile Bridge- Richmond KY

A girl that goes by the name "Little Egypt" was raped and murdered here. Supposedly if you turn off your car and crack your windows a gust of wind will come into your car and it is her. She makes sure you are not the ones who killed her. If the windows are not open she will wreck your car.

Jones Nursery Road- Winchester KY

A fatal car crash happened here on a sharp turn. Witnesses say if you turn off your car a girl will walk towards your car. Others say if you just park she will kill your car engine. No one has stayed long enough to see what she does when she reaches you.

The Tressels- Winchester KY

A long time ago a girl was walking with friends and family on a bridge which ran railroad tracks on it. The others jumped off in time but this girl did not. she was hit by the train track. Witnesses report a young girl singing and playing on the bridge.

Building 84 at Lexmark

Here's a case file for you. Anyone know about building 84 at the Lexmark place on New Circle Road? Well I interviewed a couple of people and they all had the same kind of stories to tell.

-Employees make it a POINT to get out of that place by sundown

-There's two murders on or near the site that I have been told, one execution style and one beheading. 

- There is a creature that roams the main hallway. It has been described as half dog half human. It is milky colored, bald, has no defined gender, looks like it was cut in half and its legs were put on its lower torso, the legs bend like a dogs legs, and it runs on its feet and hands. 

-One witness to it told me they seen it on the camera as it was recording. They tried to play it back for their supervisor and it didn't even record it! The boss wasn't surprised though. 

Sounds like it'd be fun! Now to get permission to investigate.....that's gonna be a you know what!

Haunts

Ok class, here's an educational lesson for you all.
What are 4 types of haunts? Anyone?
-Residual: memory replaying
-Poltergeist: Typically not self aware but still tries to throw the kitchen pots and pans at you
-Intelligent: a large percent of all hauntings are intelligent they are trying to communicate
-Demonic: Yea no Sam and Dean can get you out of this one, it's the real deal the queen mother of all dirty hauntings.

Why are we telling you this? Easy so you can somewhat figure out what kind of haunting YOU or someone ELSE may have. (Please don't try to scare away demons like you are on Supernatural, you'll just end up getting a bunch of angry gestures)

Here's a story about a residual haunting:
-A mans car broke down on a country road. It started to rain and flood the road. He decided to take shelter in what seemed to be an abandoned house up a hill. He started a small fire in the fire place and was about to doze off when he heard the door knob rattle. He hid in the closet and peeked out of the key hole to find someone dragging a body and throwing it under the floor boards. Obviously the man was scared stiff! He stayed in the closet and waited. A few minutes later the same person came back with what looked like the same body. This happened several times during the night and eventually the man fell asleep in the closet. The next day he woke up and no one was there. He opened the floor boards and under them was one skeleton. There had been a murder in the house years ago and the body was never recovered.
Why was that residual? It was the memory of the body hiding that was playing over and over again.

Poltergeists aren't much different. They are not usually self aware much like the residual hauntings. However, they don't do the same thing over and over again. Now in scary movies these haunts tend to throw knives at people right? Well they DO do that, but not all the time. If you tick one off and you are around cuddly bunnies they'll throw those just as fast as a knife.

Intelligent haunts make up for roughly 90% of all hauntings. These ghosts are self aware. They are stuck here, all for different reasons. These reasons can be anger, sadness, unfinished business, and many others. Some times these ghosts will pick up objects as well, but usually they do not throw them unless they are mad about something. These ghosts can be very territorial. They may be upset if you move into a home that used to be theirs or moved something where they don't like it.
An interesting story to go along with this.
-A psychic went to a home for a complaint about a ghost. The home consisted of a small toddler and his parents. They had been having trouble with toys disappearing, things being moved around, and other non violent but annoying disturbances. When the lady went in she communicated with the spirit and found he had died 75 years previously. "The little boy said his parents went to the market and days went by and they hadn't come back. He eventually started to feel cold and extremely tired and fell asleep. When he woke up there were strangers in his house and he was scared. He wanted his parents, but they weren't there. He has basically slept for 75 years and he felt as if he had only taken a small nap."

Ok now for the big fella, Demonic. If you have one of these in your house, I'm pretty sure your kids won't turn their heads in 360's and vomit all over the place. The tell tale sign of a demonic haunting is usually scratches, cuts, and slashes with no apparent cause. These hauntings can also come with the smell of rotten eggs, bad sewage, frighting dreams and hallucinations, crosses turned upside down, whispers when no one is around, and other things. These hauntings usually look like intelligent or poltergeist hauntings at first. They usually turn violent and sometimes deadly once they realize you know what they are and you try to get rid of them.

Hello Lexington!

Hey all! How is everyone? I bet some of you came here wondering "what the heck is this?" Well I'll tell you!
We are Banshee Paranormal and we investigate hauntings and other strange occurrences. We are based out of Lexington, KY. Founded by yours truely, David Stepp, and Chase Reynolds.
Now who are WE, personally? Glad you asked!

I come from a small town named Clinton, KY. I loved it there! I have a Native American background and I have always studied the paranormal. I am a photographer by day, a Lyft driver by night, but an all day ghost hunter! I am also obsessed with the disease TB.

David is a well educated fellow. He's seeking a masters degree in K-12 education. He loves video games, almost as much as he likes ghosts and ghost stories. He is the leader of the group.  That's mainly due to his height and strength, plus he's really handy when you need to move heavy stuff!

Chase is a gent from Lawrenceburg. His actual house is haunted! Don't worry, it's the good kind of haunting, family members that aren't in laws! (they haunt you even when they're alive!) He's the music guy in the group, I swear he's married to his Trumpet!
